This opportunity is for an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Technician to support advanced cardiac procedures in a specialized EP lab. The role is based in Renton, WA, offering a contract position with a focus on complex ablations, including atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter cases. Candidates will work alongside core staff who handle most documentation duties, providing hands-on support during procedures and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with catheter ablations and other advanced EP interventions
  • Support circulating and procedural tasks within the EP lab
  • Manage sedation and initial phase recovery monitoring for patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an EP Technician
  • Certification in BLS, with RCES or RCIS credentials required
  • Proven expertise in cath lab and electrophysiology environments
  • Experience with sedation and Phase 1 recovery; ICU or PACU background is advantageous
  • Familiarity with advanced EP procedures such as a fib and a flutter ablations
  • Preferably experienced with EPIC electronic medical records system
