Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist skilled in both vascular and neuro IR procedures for a contract assignment. This dynamic role involves working with advanced imaging equipment, supporting a high-volume department performing 20-30 cases per day. Candidates should have a strong background in neuro procedures, including cerebral angiography, coiling, kyphoplasty, spine work, stroke therapy, and carotid stenting.

Schedule & Hours:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday–Friday, four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM)
  • On-call: 1-2 shifts per week plus every 3rd or 4th weekend
  • 30-minute call-back requirement
  • Possible holiday call coverage

Required Qualifications:

  • ARRT(R) certification and BLS required; ACLS preferred
  • At least 2 years’ recent IR Tech experience, including vascular and neuro interventions
  • Proven expertise with Canon and Siemens Artis Q/Siemens Iconos systems, and GE ultrasound
  • Above average competency in complex neuro procedures
  • Adherence to high standards of sterile technique and patient confidentiality
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an address located at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Candidates with previous permanent employment or recent travel assignments at the facility must meet return guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data, ECG, and blood pressure with accurate documentation
  • Assemble, maintain, and use sterile supplies for procedures
  • Act as part of the code team, assisting with resuscitative measures as directed
  • Maintain specialization in both neuroradiology and vascular IR procedures
  • Educate radiography students in clinical techniques and equipment usage
  • Participate in department inventory management and quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide accurate billing and maintain confidential patient records
