This opportunity offers a dynamic role in Interventional Radiology (IR) within a Level I Trauma Center renowned for its Comprehensive Stroke Center of Excellence designation. Work alongside a high-performing team of IR technologists and registered nurses in a fast-paced environment equipped with advanced imaging technology, including Siemens Bi-planes and a newly approved Siemens Biplane suite soon to be installed.

Located on the 3rd floor Radiology unit, this role allows you to engage with diverse procedures such as neuro interventions (stroke, stent/coil, vasospasm), trauma embolization, chemo embolization, and SIR Sphere embolizations. The unit operates with a patient ratio of one patient to one RN and two IR techs, ensuring focused, quality care.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
  • Must be able to take call shifts as part of the team
  • Preferred: Neuro IR experience and VI registry certification
  • Self-starter with motivation and initiative; quick learner able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex IR procedures with the support of an experienced multidisciplinary team
  • Utilize state-of-the-art Siemens imaging equipment and EMR systems including Meditech and GE Centricity PACS
  • Collaborate closely with neuro-interventional surgeons and vascular specialists
  • Adhere to unit guidelines and maintain high standards of patient care and safety
