IR Technologist - Enterprise, AL

An experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist opportunity is available in Enterprise, AL. This contract role requires a skilled professional with at least two years of IR experience and a strong background in a variety of specialized imaging procedures.

Key Qualifications:

• Certification: BLS and ARRT required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
• Permanent residence located more than 50 miles from the facility
• Proficiency in the following procedures:
  • Paracentesis and Thoracentesis
  • CT-guided biopsies, drains, and aspirations
  • Arthrograms for all joints
  • Joint and spine injections/aspirations
  • Epidural procedures
  • Urology-related procedures including drains, stents, nephrostomies
  • Ultrasound-guided biopsies and fine needle aspirations (FNAs)
  • Biliary drain placements
  • Management of indwelling and tunneled pleural and peritoneal catheters

Schedule and Responsibilities:

• Day shift primarily, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential extended hours as necessary to complete workload
• Call schedule includes every other weekend coverage, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, requiring availability to arrive within 30 minutes
• Perform a variety of interventional radiology imaging and procedural support tasks, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety
