Interventional Radiology Tech | Hyattsville, Maryland

This opportunity is for an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist located in Hyattsville, MD. The role is on a contract basis and requires a candidate with a minimum of one year of IR tech experience, including neuro and scrub experience. This position offers a dynamic work environment where technical skills and patient care are essential.

Responsibilities include assisting with neuro-interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique during procedures, and providing backup support during on-call hours. Candidates must be able to respond within a 45-minute radius for call-back duties, which support a primary weekday team.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of IR Technologist experience
• Neuro-interventional radiology experience required
• Proficient in scrub technique during procedures
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
• Maryland licensure is required before the start date; pending Maryland licenses may be acceptable initially
• Ability to be on-call with flexibility for weekday backup (5 PM - 7 AM) and weekend coverage (7 AM - 7 AM)
• Local proximity within a 45-minute radius for quick on-call response preferred

Schedule/Hours:

• Backup call weekdays from 5 PM to 7 AM
• Weekend shifts may be primary or backup from 7 AM Saturday to 7 AM Sunday
• Holidays coverage as needed (7 AM - 7 AM)
