A healthcare opportunity is available for a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist with expertise in imaging and interventional radiology procedures. This contract position provides an engaging and dynamic environment focused on patient care within a Hybrid Operating Room setting.

Location: The role is based in Larimore, ND, offering access to quality healthcare services in a welcoming community. Larimore features a peaceful, small-town atmosphere with easy access to outdoor activities and nearby urban amenities.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, prepare, and maintain exam rooms before and after procedures, ensuring all supplies are available.
  • Identify patients accurately using established safety standards.
  • Discuss patient history and provide education about the exam process.
  • Prepare and administer contrast materials under physician direction following protocols.
  • Conduct pain assessments and respond according to standard operating procedures.
  • Prepare and code physician fee slips accurately, staying current with CPT procedures and completing documentation in electronic systems.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support departmental and organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a current North Dakota Medical Imaging License.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong knowledge of interventional radiology imaging techniques and patient care standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Schedule and Commitment:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week on the day shift.
  • On-call responsibilities include 4 to 6 weekends and one night per week.
