Take on an impactful assignment supporting advanced imaging and interventional procedures at a state-of-the-art medical center in a dynamic clinical environment. This contract role provides the opportunity to contribute your expertise in Interventional Radiology (IR) while working alongside talented neuro, vascular, and surgical teams in a level one trauma center.
Schedule:
- 0700-1700, Monday through Friday, for 13 weeks
- Option for 4x10-hour shifts
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification with a minimum of one year of IR experience
- BLS certification required
- Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Radiologic Technology program
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform a full spectrum of IR procedures utilizing Siemens Artis Z (single and biplane) and Philips Azurion systems, as well as C-Arm technology
- Collaborate in five dedicated IR suites, including regular support for vascular surgeries in the OR
- Assist with neurointervention cases, including aneurysm coiling, pipeline stent placement, and AVM treatment, particularly on Mondays
- Provide expertise for emergent cases and stroke interventions as part of a trauma-certified team
- Support a diverse range of procedures: urologic, hepatic, dialysis access, trauma and GI embolizations, Mediport/tunneled line placements, and vascular interventions using Jet Stream, Angiojet, CSI, Pnumbra, and IVUS systems
- Work closely with mid-level providers in specialized rooms, handling Mediport insertions/removals, as well as paracentesis and thoracentesis
