A skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist is needed for a travel opportunity in Lexington, KY, providing critical support for advanced imaging procedures. This role involves assisting physicians during interventional neuro, vascular, and CT/ultrasound-guided procedures, using cutting-edge equipment and technology.

Responsibilities include:

  • Scrubbing as the first assistant to physicians during interventional procedures.
  • Circulating in the procedure suite, ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Filming and charging exams efficiently within the electronic health record system.
  • Operating Siemens single and bi-plane imaging systems along with McKesson PACS.
  • Maintaining radiation safety standards and compliance.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • ARRT(R) certification required.
  • BLS certification mandatory.
  • Registered Technologist in Radiology (RTR) or Registered Technologist in Radiology-Vascular Interventional (RTRVI).
  • Valid Kentucky Radiation Operator’s License prior to start date.
  • 1-3 years of experience in interventional radiology with proficiency in vascular interventional radiology (VIR).
  • Experience with EPIC electronic health records system preferred.
  • Skilled in assisting with interventional neuro and vascular procedures.

Schedule & Assignment Details:

  • Four 10-hour day shifts per week.
  • One to two on-call shifts per week.
  • One weekend shift every six weeks.
  • Duration: 14 weeks.
  • This position is for traveling technologists only; local candidates within 75 miles are not eligible.
