This contract position features a 10-hour day shift schedule, working 7:00am – 5:30pm, with a total of 40 hours per week. The setting includes both inpatient and outpatient care, focusing on neuro, trauma, and stroke cases, offering you the opportunity to utilize your expertise on challenging, rewarding cases.
Schedule:
- 10-hour day shifts, 7:00am – 5:30pm
- 40 hours per week
- Weekend and holiday rotation based on unit needs
- On-call shifts according to posted schedules
Required Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification and valid Kentucky state license
- BLS certification required; VI certification preferred
- At least 1 year of interventional radiology experience (open to first-time travelers)
- Advanced proficiency in neuro interventional radiology
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
Core Duties:
- Perform IR imaging procedures with a primary focus on neuro, trauma, and stroke cases
- Safely operate and maintain advanced imaging and monitoring equipment (Philips, GE, Siemens, Cerner EMR)
- Collaborate with radiologists and the wider healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotations and adapt to weekend/holiday coverage as needed
- Complete a comprehensive orientation including new employee onboarding and up to two weeks of unit-specific training
