An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist specializing in angiography to support cardiac and IR interventions. This contract position is based in the scenic Napa, CA area, offering a rewarding role in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an IR Technologist with strong skills in angiography
  • Current ACLS, ARRT certification, and RBLS credentials
  • Valid Fluoro Permit for performing fluoroscopic procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility to provide call coverage on weekends on a rotating basis

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during cardiac and interventional radiology procedures with precision and safety
  • Prepare and maintain imaging equipment and procedural areas to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout procedures, responding promptly to any changes
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient and procedure documentation

Schedule:

  • 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (07:00 to 16:30)
  • Weekend call coverage required approximately every third weekend
