This opportunity is for a skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to work in a dynamic healthcare setting supporting diagnostic and invasive imaging procedures. The role requires proficiency in operating special procedure imaging equipment, administering contrast materials safely, and collaborating closely with care teams to provide high-quality patient care during interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and invasive imaging procedures across various anatomies and pathologies.
  • Provide scrub assistance to physicians during procedures and effectively operate essential patient care equipment such as oxygen, suction, and blood pressure monitors.
  • Administer contrast materials while reviewing medication reconciliation forms to identify contraindications.
  • Monitor patient status throughout procedures using appropriate immobilization and transfer techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols to achieve optimal imaging results.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned relevant to the IR department.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced registry certification (CI, VI, or RCIS) or ARRT (R) licensure.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an IR Technologist.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to operate specialized imaging equipment proficiently.
  • Professional demeanor with attention to safety and patient comfort.

Schedule & Location:

  • Day shift, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts totaling 36 guaranteed hours weekly.
  • Weekend and on-call hours as required by the facility.
  • Position is a 13-week contract based in Nixa, MO – conveniently located near Springfield with access to diverse cultural attractions and outdoor activities.
