This opportunity is for an Interventional Radiology Technologist with Cath Lab experience in a high-acuity cardiac service setting. The position is based in Racine, WI, and is offered on a contract basis. The role demands a skilled professional comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with adults undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including right and left heart catheterizations, STEMI/NSTEMI cases, valvuloplasty, atherectomies, staged PCI, and support for devices like IABP and Impella.
- Assist with peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional cases and some fistulograms.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care in a 1:1 patient ratio setting.
- Utilize electronic charting systems and a variety of imaging and monitoring equipment such as EPIC, GE C-arms, and hemodynamic monitors.
- Adhere to departmental protocols for conscious sedation and management of drips (RN role) or scrubbing and panning during procedures (RTR role).
- Participate in shift schedules including 8- and 12-hour shifts with call requirements.
Qualifications / Desired Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Cath Lab in a level III trauma center or equivalent high-acuity setting.
- Certification according to role:
- RN: BLS, ACLS, and preferably NIHSS.
- RTR: BLS, ACLS, Wisconsin License, with RCIS preferred.
- Experience with interventional cardiology and peripheral cases is required; hybrid OR experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment performing up to 24-40 cases daily.
Additional Information
- Orientation provided for one week.

- Adherence to fatigue policy limiting hours to 60 hours per week and no more than 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts.
