A high-acuity Cath Lab is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to support a dynamic cardiac service team. This contract role is perfect for a professional with a minimum of three years’ experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment handling diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization cases. The position involves working closely with cardiologists and a multidisciplinary team delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures including right and left heart catheterizations, STEMI/NSTEMI cases, atherectomies, valvuloplasties, and peripheral interventions.
- Scrub and pan during cases in the Cath Lab; hybrid lab experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Collaborate within a 1:1 patient ratio setting in a high-volume lab conducting up to 40 cases daily.
- Manage conscious sedation and titrate drips where applicable (RN role).
- Utilize EPIC, GE Pruka hemodynamic monitoring, and various advanced imaging systems.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and institutional fatigue policies.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a high-acuity cardiac Cath Lab environment.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS and RCIS preferred.
- Valid Wisconsin license for RTRs.
- Proficient in scrubbing and panning during procedures.
- Ability to handle critical cases involving advanced devices such as IABP, Impella, and ECMO (preferred).
Schedule and Work Environment:
- Varied 8- and 12-hour shifts with weekday and weekend rotations; call responsibilities approximately every 2-3 months with a 30-minute response time.
- Supportive staffing includes housekeeping, transporters, charge nurses, and a 24/7 cardiology presence.
- Orientation period of one week to familiarize with hospital systems and workflow.
