IR Technologist in Waterbury, CT

Schedule/Hours:

• 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM and/or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekends on call only every other week (EOW)

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Certification in Angiography or Interventional Radiology (ASRT certified preferred)
• Valid Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proven experience working as an IR Technologist, proficient in imaging procedures and patient care
• Ability to work weekends on a rotational on-call schedule

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging examinations with precision
• Prepare and maintain imaging equipment ensuring operational standards
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures ensuring patient safety
• Manage patient records and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
• Respond effectively to on-call requirements during weekends
