A healthcare facility in Waterbury, CT is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist for a contract position. This role offers a dynamic environment to apply your imaging expertise and contribute to patient care using advanced IR technology.

Schedule/Hours:
- 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM and/or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Weekends on call only every other week (EOW)
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification in Angiography or Interventional Radiology (ASRT certified preferred)
- Valid Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proven experience working as an IR Technologist, proficient in imaging procedures and patient care
- Ability to work weekends on a rotational on-call schedule
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging examinations with precision
- Prepare and maintain imaging equipment ensuring operational standards
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures ensuring patient safety
- Manage patient records and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
- Respond effectively to on-call requirements during weekends
