A high-acuity catheterization lab in Waukesha, WI is seeking skilled interventional radiology technologists with experience in cardiac catheterization procedures. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic work environment with advanced technology and a collaborative team supporting adult patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cath lab and peripheral interventional cases
  • Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including RHC, LHC, STEMI/NSTEMI, CTO, valvuloplasty, atherectomies, and staged PCI
  • Experience with hybrid cases (AAA grafts, thoracic grafts, TAVRs) preferred but not required
  • Certifications: Registered Technologist Radiography (RTR) with BLS, ACLS, and a state license; RCIS certification preferred
  • Skills in scrubbing and panning during procedures
  • Familiarity with advanced cath lab equipment such as GE C-arms, Volcano, and hemodynamic monitoring

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in a cardiac cath lab performing 24-40 cases daily in a Level III trauma and comprehensive stroke center
  • Work alongside permanent staff with support from various hospital departments including transporters and critical response teams
  • Perform patient care duties including conscious sedation and drip management (for RN roles)
  • Comply with hospital safety and workload policies including a 60-hour weekly limit and fatigue protocols
  • Participate in orientation and ongoing scheduling flexibility with 8- and 12-hour shifts, including occasional weekend and call rotation
