This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Mammography Technologist seeking a contract role with significant impact in a dedicated outpatient imaging environment. Engage in advanced breast imaging and utilize the latest technology to provide essential care and diagnostics.

Work Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• Monday–Thursday, 7:30am–5:00pm
• Rotating weekend commitment as required
• No on-call shifts

Key Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
• Active Florida Radiologic Technology license
• Proof of continuing education for mammography technologists, including:
  • Initial Mammography Course with 40 hours training
  • 15 breast-specific CMEs in the last 36 months
  • Documentation of the number of mammograms performed in the last 24 months OR
  • Reinstatement with evidence of 25 supervised cases per MQSA
• College diploma or transcripts included in profile
• BLS certification
• Completion of 8 hours Tomosynthesis/3D mammography training
• Applicants must not reside in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties

Role Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams
• Operate digital mammography and 3D Tomosynthesis equipment
• Provide compassionate, knowledgeable care to patients throughout imaging procedures
• Maintain accurate, detailed records and patient charts
• Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical team members to ensure quality outcomes
• Remain current with required continuing education and compliance protocols
