This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Mammography Technologist seeking a contract role with significant impact in a dedicated outpatient imaging environment. Engage in advanced breast imaging and utilize the latest technology to provide essential care and diagnostics.
Work Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Monday–Thursday, 7:30am–5:00pm
- Rotating weekend commitment as required
- No on-call shifts
Key Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
- Active Florida Radiologic Technology license
- Proof of continuing education for mammography technologists, including:
- Initial Mammography Course with 40 hours training
- 15 breast-specific CMEs in the last 36 months
- Documentation of the number of mammograms performed in the last 24 months OR
- Reinstatement with evidence of 25 supervised cases per MQSA
- College diploma or transcripts included in profile
- BLS certification
- Completion of 8 hours Tomosynthesis/3D mammography training
- Applicants must not reside in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties
Role Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams
- Operate digital mammography and 3D Tomosynthesis equipment
- Provide compassionate, knowledgeable care to patients throughout imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate, detailed records and patient charts
- Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical team members to ensure quality outcomes
- Remain current with required continuing education and compliance protocols
