Travel Mammography Technologist - Tampa, Florida

A skilled Mammography Technologist is needed for a contract position in Tampa, FL, specializing in diagnostic and screening mammograms. The role requires confidence in performing weekly quality control (QC) checks, ensuring compliance with current standards. Experience with Ikonopedia software is beneficial, though training will be provided if necessary.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 36 to 40 hours per week, dependent on volume

Core Responsibilities:

• Execute diagnostic and screening mammograms accurately and efficiently
• Perform weekly quality control procedures in line with MQSA and ACR guidelines
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation, including submission of required certifications before the start date
• Operate the Hologic Selenia Dimensions 3D mammography machine proficiently
• Utilize EMR/PACS system (eRAD) for imaging management and reporting

Qualifications:

• Florida state license for X-ray
• ARRT registration in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M)
• Valid Mammography Certificate
• Documentation or attestation of initial mammography training (or training prior to October 1994)
• Completion of Digital Training and Tomosynthesis Training
• Ability to comply with MQSA and ACR reporting requirements
