Mammography Technologist - Vallejo, California

A healthcare facility in Vallejo, CA is seeking an experienced Mammographer for an immediate contract opportunity. This role offers daytime shifts of either 8 or 10 hours, with some potential work on Saturdays. The position provides up to 36 hours of on-call availability during the assignment at no additional cost to the facility. Candidates should be ready to start as soon as possible and be fully vaccinated.

Qualified professionals will possess certification as a CRT(M) and ARRT(M), along with training in Tomosynthesis (Tomo). Additional skills in 3D stereotactic breast biopsy procedures will be considered a significant advantage. This position demands precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient care.

Key Qualifications:

• Certified Radiologic Technologist in Mammography (CRT(M))
• Registered Technologist in Mammography (ARRT(M))
• Tomosynthesis (Tomo) training required
• Experience or training in 3D stereotactic breast biopsy preferred
• Ability to work 8 or 10 hour daytime shifts, including some Saturdays
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to submission

Responsibilities include performing high-quality breast imaging in compliance with protocols, maintaining patient safety and comfort, and collaborating closely with radiologists and other healthcare team members. The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts during the 13-week contract.
