This position requires an experienced Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality imaging services in a well-equipped healthcare setting in Watsonville, CA. The role involves conducting mammography exams with precision and care, following safety protocols, and maintaining patient comfort.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform mammographic imaging procedures including Tomosynthesis and digital mammography.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and certifications.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
  • Adhere to quality control measures and participate in continuing education.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year as a Mammography Technologist.
  • California State License – Mammographic Radiologic Technologist (CRT (R)(M)).
  • ARRT (M) Certification with proof of original certification date.
  • Completion of initial 40 hours training plus 25 supervised exams.
  • 8 hours each modality training in Tomosynthesis and digital mammography.
  • At least 15 continuing education units (CEUs) earned within the last 36 months.
  • Experience performing at least 200 mammograms in the last 24 months.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Bone Density imaging experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Saturday, 5 days a week.
  • Shifts start between 8:00 am and 9:30 am.
  • Saturday shifts are compensated with a weekday off within the same week.
