MRI Technologist - Awendaw, SC

A healthcare facility in Awendaw, SC is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join their imaging department on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans according to established protocols ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and answering questions
• Operate MRI equipment safely and proficiently, adhering to all safety guidelines
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to support diagnostic accuracy
• Maintain patient records and imaging logs with attention to detail and confidentiality

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Florida R.T. (R) (MR) license and certification
• Proven experience as an MRI Technologist with a strong knowledge of imaging procedures
• Ability to operate MRI machinery and related technology efficiently
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Capacity to work independently as well as part of a clinical team

Schedule:

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
