An opportunity is available for a skilled MRI technologist to contribute expertise in advanced imaging techniques. Location:
Situated near Brentwood, NY, the worksite is easily accessible in the Manorville area, offering a balance of suburban convenience with proximity to urban amenities. This region features a variety of dining, shopping, and outdoor experiences, making it an attractive place to work and explore during off-hours.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Key Qualifications:
- Registered Technologist (R.T.) (R)(MR) certification required
- Valid New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License
- New York State IV/Injection Certification mandatory
- 3 to 5 years of related MRI technologist experience
- Preferred experience in Cardiac MRI imaging
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans adhering to safety standards and protocols
- Administer IV contrast injections following proper certification and patient care guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure precise imaging and diagnostic support
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Utilize advanced cardiac MRI techniques, if applicable, to support specialized diagnostic needs
