A highly skilled MRI technologist opportunity is available in Burlington, NC, inviting qualified candidates with a comprehensive background in advanced imaging techniques to contribute within a dynamic acute care environment. This travel position offers extensive hands-on experience with pediatric to geriatric patients on state-of-the-art GE and Siemens MRI wide bore scanners, including a GE Architect 3T, GE Artist 1.5T, and Siemens Sola 1.5T.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years MRI technologist experience; first-time travelers are welcome.
  • ARRT or ARMRIT MRI registry required.
  • Proficiency with GE and Siemens MRI systems required.
  • Experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
  • Expertise in anesthesia, pediatric sedation, ventilator ICU patient imaging, and general pediatric MRI.
  • Skilled in scanning patients with MR conditional devices, including pacemakers, ICDs, and implants using SAR and B1+RMS guidance.
  • Familiarity with Level 2 trauma imaging protocols.
  • Ability to adapt parameters to meet safety guidelines for conditional devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans on a wide range of patients from infants to elderly.
  • Conduct specialized exams for patients with conditional implants.
  • Collaborate with acute care teams to deliver high-quality imaging services.
  • Adhere to strict scheduling, attendance, and compliance standards.
  • Participate in holiday rotation, weekend shifts, and backup on-call duties.

Schedule:

  • 3x12 hour night shifts (7 PM to 7 AM), Friday through Sunday.
  • Coverage includes weekday and weekend shifts with potential for holiday rotation.
