Travel MRI Technician | Charleston, South Carolina

Here, you’ll collaborate within a dynamic imaging department using advanced GE 1.5T Signa and GE 3T Pioneer MRI systems. This assignment allows you to experience varied workplace practices, providing valuable insight into cardiac and breast MRI, while working alongside skilled colleagues who bring diverse approaches to patient care. Schedule & Expectations:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts in line with hospital policy
• Required to work every other weekend and on holidays as part of a rotation
• On-call Fri-Sun, 8p-7a, approximately every 4-5 weekends

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year MRI experience
• ARRT MRI registration
• Valid BLS certification
• Cardiac/Breast MRI experience preferred but not required
• Comfortable with Meditech documentation system
• Ability to adapt to new technology and collaborate with a seasoned imaging team

Daily Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of MRI/MRA studies: brain, abdomen, spine, extremities, cardiac, breast, soft tissue, and more
• Operate GE MRI equipment with proficiency
• Follow strict protocols for patient safety and image quality
• Work collaboratively with techs and support staff
