Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent) is required.
  • Minimum of one year experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical healthcare setting.
  • Current, valid state licensure as required.
  • Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, patient safety, and MRI safety regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail for accurate imaging and patient documentation.
  • Outstanding communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced environments and effectively coordinate with staff.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI procedures and produce quality diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
  • Prepare patients for scans by explaining procedures, screening for safety, and providing support throughout the imaging process.
  • Monitor and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
  • Ensure patient information and imaging data are accurately recorded in electronic medical records.
  • Adhere to strict safety standards for both patients and staff at all times.
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate atmosphere for diverse patient populations.
