Seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for an evening shift role in Crestwood, KY. This contract position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic healthcare team supporting a patient census averaging 40 daily, including a diverse neuro patient population and student athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI imaging on acute neuro patients, including spine, stroke, and head trauma cases.
  • Deliver excellent patient care with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Utilize and maintain unit-specific equipment such as Siemens Sola and Verio MRI machines.
  • Operate efficiently within EMR systems, preferably Cerner.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, MRI techs, and a tech assistant to ensure quality imaging services.
  • Adapt to working solo on the MRI as needed based on shift requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of acute MRI experience required.
  • Credentials: BLS and either ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification.
  • Current state MRI license (KY License or equivalent grandfathered status).
  • Experience with neuro patients and demonstrated proficiency with related imaging protocols.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care.

Shift & Scheduling Details:

  • Hours: 8-hour evening shift, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Weekend rotation and holiday coverage as per unit needs.
  • No on-call responsibilities.
  • Schedule adjustments require NM approval.

Additional Information:

  • Orientation lasts approximately 2 weeks within the department.
  • Free parking with badge access.
  • Scrub color: Ceil Blue.
  • Support from radiology staff available 24/7.
