Key Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT (MR) certification required
  • Active BLS certification
  • Proven clinical experience operating MRI equipment in a hospital or clinical setting
  • In-depth knowledge of advanced imaging procedures and safety protocols
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with patients and healthcare staff
  • Ability to assess patient needs, explain procedures clearly, and maintain patient comfort throughout imaging sessions

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans according to physician orders, department protocols, and ACR guidelines
  • Screen patients and equipment for safety, ensuring compliance with MRI safety policies
  • Accurately position patients and select the appropriate imaging parameters to optimize diagnostic value
  • Document imaging results and accurately enter patient data into the radiology information system
  • Monitor equipment functionality, assist with minor troubleshooting, and communicate maintenance needs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection prevention guidelines
  • Support and guide patients through the MRI process while minimizing discomfort and anxiety
