Provide expert MRI imaging services on a mobile unit, delivering accurate diagnostic scans in a dynamic radiology environment. This contract role involves working with Siemens MRI equipment to perform a variety of studies, including brain, spine, MRA, body (abdomen, pelvis, chest), and musculoskeletal imaging such as long bones and joints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the Siemens MRI scanner efficiently as the lone technologist on-site during assigned shifts
  • Perform an average of 14 scans per day using EPIC and Fuji PACS systems to accurately capture required images
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care
  • Start IVs as needed to facilitate contrast imaging studies
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with licensing and certification standards

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Current ARRT or ARMRIT certification with an active WV MRI license
  • BLS certification
  • Proven experience working independently as an MRI technologist, including starting IVs
  • Clinical proficiency in brain, spine, body, MRA, and musculoskeletal imaging
  • Strong communication skills for physician interaction
  • Comfortable using EPIC and Fuji PACS software
  • Ability to work within a mobile MRI unit environment

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour day shifts per week (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM for 3 shifts)
  • Two 12-hour day shifts per week (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM for 2 shifts)
  • Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays required
