A specialized opportunity is available for an MRI Technologist with expertise in advanced imaging techniques. This travel position offers a dynamic work schedule of three 12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Candidates must be proficient in various MRI procedures and technologies to support a high-acuity patient population.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience; first-time travelers encouraged to apply if minimum experience is met
- ARMRIT or ARRT MR certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory
- Proficient with PACS and Siemens imaging systems
- Previous experience serving as Charge Technologist preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system
- Experience in adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, and emergency trauma settings; pediatric acute care experience is a plus
- Skilled in a broad range of MRI protocols including abdomen, pelvis (male and female), chest, brain, cranial nerves, neck soft tissue, musculoskeletal anatomy, spine, and trauma imaging
- Competence in isolation precautions, contrast media administration, and starting peripheral IVs
- Knowledge of advanced imaging techniques such as Gradient Echo, MIP, Spin Echo, and utilization of surface coils; MRP experience preferred
