This opportunity seeks an experienced MRI Technologist to provide advanced imaging services in a dynamic acute care setting. The role involves operating state-of-the-art MRI scanners, including GE Architect 3T, GE Artist 1.5T, and Siemens Sola 1.5T wide bore systems, to perform diagnostic exams across all age groups from infants to geriatrics. Expertise in scanning patients with conditional implants such as MR conditional pacemakers, ICDs, and stimulators is vital, with the ability to manipulate scanning parameters to meet specific safety guidelines.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years MRI tech experience required; first-time travelers are welcome.
- Current registration with ARRT or ARMRIT in MRI.
- Proficiency with GE and Siemens MRI equipment.
- Experience in pediatrics, including anesthesia, pediatric sedations, and ventilator ICU patients.
- Familiarity with scanning conditional devices using SAR and/or B1+RMS guidance.
- Experience working in an acute care hospital environment.
- Knowledge of EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Ability to handle a trauma Level 2 setting and work with patients having L2 trauma, pacemakers, and ICDs.
Schedule and Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, Friday through Sunday.
- Holiday rotation and backup on-call coverage required.
- Shifts may include 8-, 10-, and 12-hour blocks with weekday and weekend coverage.
