Join a dynamic Radiology team dedicated to exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. This travel opportunity is based in High Point, NC, within a 50-mile radius of the facility, and involves working primarily night shifts with a supportive team utilizing state-of-the-art MRI technology.

Location Overview: High Point offers a rich blend of cultural attractions, historic neighborhoods, and vibrant community life. Known as a hub for furniture manufacturing, the city also provides ample parks, shopping, and dining options. Its central location in North Carolina makes it an accessible and comfortable place for temporary assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI imaging using three wide bore scanners: GE Architect 3T, GE Artist 1.5T, and Siemens Sola 1.5T.
  • Manage imaging for all patient age groups, from infants to geriatrics.
  • Conduct scans involving conditional implants such as MR conditional pacemakers, ICDs, and stimulators, following safety protocols and adjusting scanning parameters as needed (SAR and B1+RMS guidance).
  • Provide imaging support for anesthesia cases, pediatric sedations, ventilated ICU patients, and general pediatric patients, both sedated and non-sedated.
  • Operate within a 24/7 coverage model, including weekday and weekend shifts, holiday rotations, and backup on-call duties.
  • Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Registered MRI Technologist with ARRT or ARMRIT certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience; first-time travelers are welcome.
  • Proficiency with GE and Siemens MRI systems.
  • Experience in acute care or similar facility environments.
  • Familiarity with L2 Trauma protocols and scanning of conditional devices.
  • Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts (7 PM to 7 AM), Friday through Sunday.
  • Commitment to punctuality and attendance, aligning with the client’s zero-tolerance policy.
  • Ability to meet compliance deadlines promptly.
