MRI Tech in Huntington Station, NY

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI imaging examinations according to protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver accurate diagnostic images.
• Maintain compliance with safety guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Utilize NYS IV/injection certification skills to administer contrast agents when required.
• Apply cardiac MRI knowledge to support specialized imaging protocols, if applicable.

Qualifications:

• Registered Technologist credentials: R.T. (R) (MR)
• Valid New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License
• New York State IV/Injection Certification
• 3 to 5 years of professional MRI technologist experience
• Preferred experience in Cardiac MRI imaging is a plus
