Join a specialized imaging team focused on delivering exceptional MRI services at a leading healthcare institution in Lexington, KY. This 14-week contract opportunity offers the chance to apply your advanced MRI skills in a Level 1 Trauma Center and teaching hospital setting, working Tuesday through Friday on a night shift schedule with no on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans with precision and adherence to safety protocols, including thorough research of implants and compliance with MRI safety guidelines.
  • Manage imaging procedures for anesthesia and pediatric patients with high attention to patient care and comfort.
  • Operate Siemens MRI systems efficiently, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals using Epic and PACS systems to support patient care and documentation.
  • Maintain professional certifications and adhere to hospital policies and standards.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active BLS and ARRT (MR) certifications are required.
  • State licensure is not required for this position.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center or teaching facility preferred.
  • Proven experience with Siemens MRI equipment is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of MRI safety and implant research protocols.
  • Familiarity with handling pediatric and anesthesia cases.
  • Experience with Epic and PACS software is a plus.
  • Local travelers within 75 miles of Lexington, KY, are not eligible for this role.
