An opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Technologist to support imaging services in Lowell, MA. This role involves performing MRI scans with precision and care, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images to assist in patient treatment. A contract position offering a focused schedule on night shifts, providing a balanced work-life routine without mandatory weekend hours.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an MRI Technologist
- Proficiency with Phillips MRI equipment is required
- GE 3T MRI experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Certification from ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or ARMIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists)
- Massachusetts state licensure is not required
Schedule:
- 36 hours per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- No mandatory weekend shifts; holiday shifts as needed on a voluntary basis
Responsibilities:
- Conduct MRI procedures according to established protocols
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging sessions
- Maintain and operate MRI equipment efficiently
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver accurate diagnostic images
- Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements in imaging
