Responsibilities include positioning patients on the exam table and correctly placing specified coils such as head or knee coils based on radiologist protocols. Effective communication with patients during examinations using a microphone system is essential for comfort and safety. You will enter patient data, scan parameters, and sequence commands into the MRI system, carefully monitor the patient through the control room window and closed-circuit TV, and view scan images on screens to maintain optimal picture quality. Documenting images by photographing them and maintaining safety procedures around the MRI magnet area are vital aspects of the role. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required.

- Proficiency as an MRI Technologist with comprehensive knowledge of MR imaging protocols
- Ability to handle MRI equipment controls and software for scan sequencing
