An opportunity is available for a skilled MRI Technologist to support advanced imaging services in Nicholasville, KY. This 14-week contract position is ideally suited for professionals with experience in high-acuity, Level 1 Trauma Center environments and a strong background in MRI procedures, particularly with Siemens equipment.

Location: Nicholasville offers a vibrant community with a blend of small-town charm and proximity to urban amenities. Located within easy reach of Lexington, KY, this area provides access to cultural, recreational, and dining options to complement a well-balanced lifestyle.

Schedule:

  • Tuesday through Friday
  • Night shift, 4 x 10-hour shifts
  • No on-call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI imaging procedures with adherence to safety protocols, including implant research and scanning guidelines.
  • Safely manage anesthesia and pediatric patient imaging.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center setting.
  • Utilize Siemens MRI technology to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Document and maintain accurate records using Epic and PACS systems (preferred).

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current BLS certification.
  • ARRT certification in MRI required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center or teaching hospital environment.
  • Proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of MRI safety standards and protocols.
  • Experience with pediatric and anesthesia-related MRI procedures.
  • State licensure is not required for this role.
  • Local candidates within 75 miles are not eligible due to facility policies.
