Job Type Contract

Advance your imaging career as an experienced MRI Technologist in a contract opportunity lasting 13 weeks. This role offers a dynamic shift structure to support a busy imaging department and requires adaptability for various weekday, evening, and weekend assignments.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Variable shifts totaling 36 hours per week
  • On-call shifts: 1 night per week, rotating weekends
  • Potential for 8-12 hour shifts, including weekday, evening, and Sunday shifts

Required Qualifications:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in MRI [ARRT (MR)]
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Valid Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license
  • Proven experience with MRI imaging procedures and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, flexible environment and adapt to shifting schedules

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI scans as ordered by healthcare providers, ensuring patient safety and care
  • Review and verify physician orders, patient histories, and risk factors prior to procedures
  • Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging, providing instructions and support throughout
  • Operate MRI equipment and related imaging technologies in accordance with department protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff for optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including patient records and procedural reports
  • Adhere strictly to infection control practices and departmental safety regulations
