MRI Technician | Orem, Utah

An opportunity is available for a skilled MRI technologist to work in a hospital radiology department located in Orem, UT. This contract position involves working Monday to Friday, with scheduled hours from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM and participation in call rotations. The facility is equipped with GE imaging equipment and utilizes the Meditech documentation system.

Location:
Situated near Payson, Utah, this hospital features 124 beds and a dedicated radiology unit known for its experienced, long-tenured, multimodality staff. The department embraces modern technology and promotes patient safety and accessibility within a professional setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI imaging procedures following established protocols and safety standards
• Operate GE MRI equipment efficiently and accurately
• Document patient information and imaging results using the Meditech system
• Participate in scheduled call rotations as needed to support patient care
• Adhere to the unit dress code requiring scrubs and maintain compliance with facility policies

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current CT and MRI certifications are mandatory
• Basic proficiency in MRI procedures required
• BLS certification preferred
• Ability to adhere to scheduled hours and shift rotations
• Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Call rotation participation
