An opportunity is available for a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist committed to delivering high-quality imaging services within a hospital environment. This contract role involves performing a broad range of routine and advanced MRI procedures, supporting imaging staff, and facilitating efficient patient care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, flexibility, and exceptional communication skills aligned with organizational standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute MRI examinations ensuring safety and quality in image acquisition and patient care
  • Provide technical support including troubleshooting equipment issues and participating in quality assurance processes
  • Facilitate smooth patient flow through effective scheduling and collaboration with healthcare teams
  • Maintain compliance with all hospital policies as well as state and federal regulations
  • Support colleagues and adapt to various shifts and locations as required
  • Manage imaging data by properly scanning and archiving images in PACS, including downtime procedures
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification (ARRT or AMRIT) obtained or within one year of hire
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with PACS systems
  • Minimum of 1 year hospital or clinical imaging experience preferred
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required

Work Schedule:

  • 16-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 AM to 11 PM, with on-call responsibilities
