MRI Technician | South Burlington, Vermont

Qualifications and Experience:

• Registered MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
• Proven experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical environment
• Proficiency with imaging technology and safety protocols
• Strong patient interaction and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced workflow and collaborate with clinical teams
• Current BLS certification

Role Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners to obtain clear, accurate images as requested by physicians
• Verify patient identities and review orders for imaging procedures
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Explain procedures to patients while addressing questions or concerns
• Monitor patients during scans, adhering to established safety standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to obtain optimal imaging results
• Assist with maintaining imaging equipment and troubleshooting technical issues
• Accurately document procedures, patient information, and scan results in medical records
