A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Johnson City, NY. This role requires expertise in nuclear medicine imaging and operation of specialized equipment. The ideal candidate will have current certifications and licensure, supporting the delivery of precise diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using General Electric Nuclear Medicine cameras and related equipment.
  • Operate the Biodex Dose calibrator accurately to prepare radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Utilize software systems including EPIC, NMIS, and Xeleris to document and manage imaging data.
  • Ensure patient safety and compliance with all regulatory standards during imaging procedures.
  • Maintain equipment functionality through routine quality control checks.

Qualifications:

  • Current Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT (N) certification.
  • Valid New York State licensure.
  • BLS CPR certification.
  • Experience with General Electric nuclear medicine equipment and clinical workflow software.

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Dayshift schedule (typically 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday).
