Key Qualifications:

  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or equivalent)
  • Experience operating PET/CT scanners, including patient preparation and image acquisition
  • Proficiency in handling radiopharmaceuticals, injection techniques, and radiation safety protocols
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in image analysis and documentation
  • Ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other technologists for optimal patient outcomes
  • Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
  • Excellent communication skills and compassionate bedside manner

Schedule:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Standard day shift hours, with some flexibility as patient needs dictate

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging
  • Monitor patient well-being and safety throughout imaging procedures
  • Accurately process and archive images using digital systems
  • Maintain equipment, manage inventory, and ensure a clean, organized imaging suite
  • Assist with ongoing quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives
