Key Qualifications:
- Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or equivalent)
- Experience operating PET/CT scanners, including patient preparation and image acquisition
- Proficiency in handling radiopharmaceuticals, injection techniques, and radiation safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in image analysis and documentation
- Ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other technologists for optimal patient outcomes
- Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate bedside manner
Schedule:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Standard day shift hours, with some flexibility as patient needs dictate
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging
- Monitor patient well-being and safety throughout imaging procedures
- Accurately process and archive images using digital systems
- Maintain equipment, manage inventory, and ensure a clean, organized imaging suite
- Assist with ongoing quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives
