Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Proven experience in Nuclear Medicine imaging and operation of related equipment
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and radiopharmaceutical preparation
  • Familiarity with PACS systems and electronic medical records, including scheduling and patient tracking tools
  • Ability to perform organ imaging, functional studies, and therapeutic assistance under physician guidance
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage patients and multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility to work holidays, weekends, on-call shifts, and overtime as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Select and operate Nuclear Medicine equipment as directed
  • Administer radioactive tracers and perform radionuclide imaging procedures
  • Evaluate and ensure quality of diagnostic radio images using PACS
  • Maintain radiation protection standards and equipment calibration
  • Manage radiopharmaceutical inventory and regulatory documentation
  • Assist in Cardiology and PET/CT rotation assignments
  • Perform clerical tasks including use of EPIC and scheduling systems
  • Adhere to established policies and deliver patient-centered care following organizational competencies
