A healthcare facility in Vestal, NY, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week contract position. This role offers a full-time schedule working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday during daytime hours. It’s an excellent opportunity to work with advanced nuclear medicine imaging equipment, including General Electric cameras and specialized software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using state-of-the-art equipment
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
  • Operate and maintain imaging devices such as Biodex Dose Calibrator, EPIC, NMIS, and Xeleris
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care and accurate diagnostic results
  • Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements related to nuclear medicine

Qualifications:

  • NMTCB or ARRT (N) Certification is required
  • Valid New York State license to practice nuclear medicine technology
  • Current BLS CPR certification
  • Experience with General Electric nuclear medicine cameras and related equipment preferred
  • Knowledge of EPIC, NMIS, and Xeleris software is a plus
