Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Friday: 6:30am–8:00pm
  • Saturday & Sunday: 7:00am–8:30pm
  • On-call rotations: 4 shifts, all holidays

As a crucial member of the imaging team, you’ll independently perform a wide variety of diagnostic radiologic procedures, delivering exceptional and compassionate care to patients of all ages. This role emphasizes critical thinking, collaborative teamwork, and robust communication, giving you valuable exposure to different leadership styles and operational workflows that enhance your professional skill set.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure patient safety and comfort while strictly adhering to imaging protocols
  • Accurately obtain clinical histories, assess for contraindications, and monitor patient condition throughout each procedure
  • Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and minimal radiation exposure
  • Provide clear procedural explanations and pre/post-care instructions to patients and families
  • Mentor and support students during clinical rotations, contributing to a positive learning environment
  • Perform quality control, maintain documentation, and comply with regulatory and departmental standards
  • Assist with equipment sanitation, inventory management, and emergency preparedness

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Current ARRT Radiography certification
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with patients, families, and team members
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to prioritize effectively
