A healthcare opportunity is available for a skilled Radiologic Technologist with expertise in radiology imaging and X-ray technology. This contract role is located in Charlotte, NC, offering the unique chance to join a Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital known for its comprehensive clinical services including a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center.

Work Schedule:

  • 12-hour night shift
  • Friday through Sunday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Weekend and holiday coverage as required (with advance approval for time off)
  • Call responsibilities shared fairly among team members

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic examinations for adults and pediatric patients across emergency, ICU, nursing units, and outpatient departments
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment, including Shimadzu RadSpeed, Intelli-C, Konica, GE, and Siemens systems, with proficiency
  • Communicate effectively within a diverse clinical team to provide accurate imaging in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
  • Adhere to departmental protocols supported by lead technologists, modality supervisors, and imaging managers

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience preferred; first-time travelers are welcome
  • Current BLS certification and ARRT Radiologic Technologist credential required
  • Confidence in clinical skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Positive teamwork attitude and strong communication skills essential

Technology Utilization:

  • Electronic Medical Records system: EPIC
