This opportunity seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist skilled in imaging and X-ray technology to join a busy, high-acuity hospital setting. Located near Charlotte, NC, this contract position offers a dynamic role within a Level III Trauma Teaching Hospital, serving emergency, inpatient, and outpatient departments. The hospital is recognized for centers of excellence in chest pain, stroke, and bariatrics, providing a comprehensive clinical environment.

Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT-R)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of three years’ experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • NC state licensure is not required
  • Ability to work with Siemens and GE imaging equipment
  • Comfortable using EPIC EMR system
  • Photo ID for compliance purposes

Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic imaging procedures in emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings
  • Collaborate closely with radiology nursing and patient transport teams
  • Maintain patient safety and high standards of care in a fast-paced environment
  • Adhere to departmental protocols and quality assurance standards

Schedule:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM
  • 10-hour shift schedule, 40 hours per week
  • Weekend and holiday rotations to be discussed during interview; travelers expected to work 75% of holidays

  • Orientation lasts 3-5 days depending on modality
