A premier healthcare setting in Grosse Pointe, MI is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. This role offers the opportunity to utilize your expertise in radiology imaging within fast-paced environments such as the Emergency Room (ER) and Operating Room (OR), working with a diverse patient population ranging from young to geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform portable X-rays in ER and OR settings
- Provide imaging services with precision and care for trauma level I or II cases
- Collaborate with medical teams to ensure accurate diagnostic images
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain equipment proficiency, including GE, Carestream, and OEC C-Arms systems
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School Diploma required
- ARRT-R certification mandatory
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist
- Proven Level I or II trauma experience within Operating Room environments
- Commitment to continuing education requirements in radiologic technology
Schedule and Hours:
- Night shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday
- Every other weekend rotation
- No block scheduling or on-call duties
Interview Process:
- 15 to 20-minute MS Teams or phone interview
- Panel includes Manager, Supervisor, and possibly a lead Technologist
