This opportunity is for a Radiologic Technologist skilled in imaging and X-ray techniques, available on a contract basis in Monroe, NC. The role supports a busy, Level I Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma teaching hospital, serving approximately 350-400 patients daily in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of radiologic technologist experience; first-time travelers welcome
- Active ARRT-R certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Confident clinical skillset, capable of working efficiently under pressure
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitude

Responsibilities:
- Perform a full spectrum of radiology exams for adults and pediatric patients in departments including Emergency, ICU, nursing units, and outpatient areas
- Operate a range of imaging equipment such as Shimadzu RadSpeed, Intelli-C multipurpose, Konica and Shimadzu portables, GE and Siemens R/F rooms
- Work within a team led by modality supervisors and an Imaging Manager to maintain high-quality imaging services
- Participate in departmental orientation and adhere to scheduled shift assignments
Schedule & Requirements:
- 12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday (6:30 pm to 7:00 am)
- Weekend position requiring all weekends worked
- Call duties shared equitably across staff including travelers
- Holiday coverage expected unless pre-approved off
