Rad Tech in Waterford, MI

This opportunity is ideal for a Radiologic Technologist with specialized skills in imaging and experience in operating room (OR) settings. The primary focus of this role is supporting surgical procedures by providing accurate and timely radiologic imaging in the OR environment. Schedule/Hours:

• Option 1: Three 12-hour shifts, 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
• Option 2: Four 10-hour shifts, 1:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with every other weekend scheduled.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality radiology imaging services primarily within the OR.
• Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure imaging supports successful patient outcomes.
• Maintain and operate radiologic equipment safely and effectively.
• Complete required training to become proficient with facility protocols and technologies.
• Adhere to strict safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist, with a focus on X-ray or general radiology imaging.
• Previous OR experience is required to meet the demands of this setting.
• Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and safety procedures.
• Ability to work night and weekend shifts as outlined.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
