An opportunity is available for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to support advanced imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position offers the chance to contribute your expertise in ultrasound diagnostics within a fast-paced medical center renowned for its academic and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound imaging in various hospital units including ER, ICU, Pediatrics, and PICU.
  • Conduct portable ultrasound examinations as required.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
  • Utilize GE ultrasound equipment and PACS systems efficiently.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends, providing critical support as needed.
  • Respond as part of the facility's Emergency Team during extraordinary events, remaining onsite until the event passes or relief arrives.

Qualifications:

  • Valid ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical ultrasound experience.
  • EPIC electronic medical records experience required.
  • Previous experience in emergency and critical care settings highly preferred.
  • Open to first-time travel technologists enthusiastic about new challenges.

Schedule:

  • Five 8-hour shifts, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
  • Rotation for on-call duties after 11:30 PM and weekend on-call shifts.

This role involves a contract assignment with the possibility of engaging in a supportive relief system during emergency situations. Candidates should be comfortable with flexible responsiveness in critical circumstances.
